What is the In-Home Care Worker Registry?

The Registry is a customized internet-based system designed to provide in-home consumers with information on individual care provider's training, background checks, availability and verification of worker status.  Participation is voluntary.  The In-Home Care Worker Registry is managed by the West Virginia Bureau of Senior Services, a public agency committed to improving the quality of long term in-home care services for people who are elderly and adults with disabilities.

How will the In-Home Care Worker Registry help me?

The Registry provides individuals with potential employment opportunities as an in-home care provider.  Applicants must be at least 18 years old. At the same time, the In-Home Care Worker Registry can provide consumers with a listing of potential care providers and allows the consumer to verify the in-home care worker's credentials and training.
